The Challenge
Statkraft required enabling infrastructure to prepare the Necton National Grid site for installation of a new converter transformer. The works demanded fast mobilisation and construction of a bellmouth, access road, and secure compound within a rural environment.
Our Approach
As Principal Civils Contractor, BRM Utility Services delivered full enabling works including highway tie-in, reinforced access road, and compound formation. Our team managed CDM compliance, temporary works, and environmental controls while coordinating with Statkraft and Norfolk Highways for safe public-road interfaces.

Outcome
Bellmouth construction has been completed safely, with road and compound works progressing to programme. The project continues to perform on schedule and to Statkraft’s quality, safety, and environmental standards.
